Water-Filled Plastic Barrier — Modular, Lightweight, Instantly Deployable

Roadsidesafe water-filled barriers provide rapid-deployment traffic control and crowd management for outdoor events, festivals, road construction sites, emergency traffic diversions, and temporary perimeter security across Europe, North America, Australia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.

Hollow to Ship, Heavy When Needed

Each unit ships empty — dramatically reducing freight cost vs. concrete or steel alternatives. On-site, fill with water via standard hose connection. A single 1-metre unit weighs approximately 80kg when water-filled — sufficient to withstand crowd pressure and slow-speed vehicle contact.

Key Features

  • Interlocking System: Male/female end connectors link units into continuous barrier walls of any length in minutes.
  • High-Visibility: Orange or white — compatible with retroreflective decal kits for night-time use.
  • Drain Port: Bottom drain plug for emptying, transport, and repositioning.
  • UV Stabilized HDPE: Will not crack or fade in prolonged outdoor exposure.
  • Forklift Channels: Bottom slots allow mechanical handling for large-scale deployments.

FAQ

Q: Can sand be used instead of water?
A: Yes. Sand fill provides additional ballast for permanent installations. Note: sand-filled barriers require mechanical handling for repositioning.
